About Me
Although I've had many careers in my life, I've always come back to doing creative things. I started as a ballet dancer, studying at The School of American Ballet, and then, I became a screenwriter and playwright, receiving a MFA from NYU. I've had my stage plays performed at The Kennedy Center in DC and The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, winning three national awards. After working in the film industry as a writer, I returned to graduate school and earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. After years of working in the field of psychology, I became a licensed psychotherapist, specializing in time management tools and goal-setting strategies. While seeing clients for therapy and coaching, I also started teaching as a university professor. Now, I write self-help books and screenplays, work with clients, host a podcast, and I'm a busy mom of two kids. Over the years, I've developed a more balanced approach to getting stuff done. Small steps add up! And you can get to where you want to go, if you just take it one small step at at time. |
