About Me
Although I've had many careers in my life, I've always come back to doing creative things. I started as a ballet dancer, studying at The School of American Ballet, and then, I became a screenwriter and playwright, receiving a MFA from NYU. I've had my stage plays performed at The Kennedy Center in DC and The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, winning three national awards. After working in the film industry for awhile, I returned to graduate school and earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. After many years working in the field, I became a licensed psychotherapist, specializing in time management tools and goal-setting strategies. While seeing clients for therapy and coaching, I also started working as a university professor. Now, I write self-help books, work with clients and groups, host a popular productivity podcast, and I'm also a busy mom of two kids. Over the years, I've developed a more balanced approach to getting stuff done. Finding ways to break big goals down into small and easy steps is a subject I enjoy exploring in my work. |
