Risa Williams is a clinical psychotherapist (CA LMFT #89984) and a time management coach. She's the award-winning author of three self-help books: The Ultimate Anxiety Toolkit, The Ultimate Self-Esteem Toolkit and The Ultimate Time Management Toolkit (JKP Books). ​Risa is the host of The Motivation Mindset Podcast, and has been interviewed as an expert in Wired, Business Insider, Forbes, Bustle, and HuffPost.

Risa utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), REBT, mindfulness, and creative arts, as well as tools from her books. She helps people figure out where they want to go and how to get there, in small consistent steps that feel easy to do.

​WHAT ARE ONLINE SESSIONS? 
Online sessions (via video sessions or phone calls) allow me to see clients who are in different locations. It frees busy clients from having to drive to a therapist's office and allows them the freedom to feel comfortable and more relaxed in a setting of their choice. As a trained professional, I am able to pick up on vocal and visual clues to maintain a connection with my clients via telehealth. I only offer online sessions at this time.

​DO YOU PROVIDE SESSIONS FOR COUPLES OR KIDS?
No, I only work with adults in individual sessions at this time.

​DO YOU OFFER CLASSES OR WORKSHOPS?

​​​​WHAT IS THE COST PER SESSION?
My fee is $250 for a 45 minute online or phone session. Coaching sessions are out-of-pocket payments only. I only accept Optum (United Healthcare) insurance payments for CA clients who are attending weekly sessions for psychotherapy for adult ADHD or anxiety reduction. If my practice is full, you can request to be added to the waitlist and  you will be contacted about the next opening.
